 Candidates for Local Races—2023

(Green Bay)  The Green Bay Clerk has completed her initial review of paperwork for candidates seeking local office.  All candidates must submit a Campaign Finance Registration Statement, a Declaration of Candidacy and Nomination Papers.  

Four candidates running for Green Bay Mayor:

Paul D. Boucher

Eric Genrich (incumbent)

Chad Weininger

Jane M. Juza

There will be a primary for the Mayor’s race on February 21, 2023.  

The General Election will take place on April 4, 2023.

Four candidates running for Green Bay Area Public School Board 

Trustee:

Lynn Gerlach

Paul Boucher

Noah Becker

Laura McCoy (incumbent)

These candidates will be selected at the General Election on April 4, 2023.

Members of the public may view campaign documents at greenbaywi.gov/288/campaign-finance-reports. 

 The ballot placement lottery will take place on January 10, 2023, information is posted on the city’s website under “election notices.”  All candidates and current office holders who did not take the finance exemption (spending/accumulating more than $2500) must submit a “January Continuing” report by January 17, 2023.  Upcoming important dates for voters:  last day to establish residency for the spring primary is January 24, 2023;

 absentee ballots mailed on January 31, 2023; last day to register online or by-mail is February 1, 2023; in-person absentee voting begins on February 7, 2023; February 17 is the last day to register in the clerk’s office and February 21st is Election Day.  Visit greenbaywi.gov/voters or myvote.wi.gov for more information.
