CYP Serves is excited to present Gather for Good 2023 at Title townTech on Tuesday, January 24, 2023!

In its second annual event, Gather for Good brings together Current Young Professionals and our peers to give back to our community in a collective, innovative and inspiring environment. During the evening, CYP Serves presents three area nonprofits who are working diligently to make Greater Green Bay a better community to all including Paul’s Pantry, Wisconsin Humane Society – Green Bay campus, and the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.

Attendees can participate in one, two, or all three give back opportunities, and enjoy networking on the third-floor where a cash bar will be available*.

Give Back Opportunities:

Paul’s Pantry volunteer thank you cards: CYPs will be able to use their creativity to hand-craft thank you cards for their dedicated volunteers by decorating them with designs and words of encouragement, thanks and praise.

Wisconsin Humane Society: Peers can assemble heating pads/warmers for kittens. Warmers are made using rice and cotton tube socks. Heating pads/warmers help the kittens regulate their body temperature, for use while they are transporting kittens from the shelter to foster homes, and following surgeries.

Green Bay Botanical Gardens: CYP’s can help assemble take-home craft kits (bird feeders) that will be distributed during the Botanical Garden’s Winter Celebration at the end of January.

Gather for Good is a collective effort to give back to our community. All CYPs will be able to log their volunteer time at this event on the Volunteer Center’s website, GetConnected. All supplies will be provided at the event. *All Titletown facilities are cashless. A cash bar will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during Gather for Good.

About the nonprofits:

Paul’s Pantry was founded in 1984 by Leo Frigo. The organization rescues millions of pounds of food from the marketplace each year and all inedible food is given to local livestock farmers so nothing is wasted. Paul’s Pantry serves community members in need by allowing them to shop for his or her own food. Volunteers of Paul’s Pantry fulfilled over 65,000 volunteer hours last year alone.

The Wisconsin Humane Society was founded in 1879 and has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Door and Brown County. The organization serves over 40,000 animals each year and receives no general government funding. Through its services, the WHS specializes as a site providing comprehensive adoption programs, affordable spay/neuter services, pet food bank, youth programs, outreach programs, foster programs, dog training and a wildlife rehabilitation center in Milwaukee.

The Green Bay Botanical Gardens offers guests and visitors 47 acres to explore, filled with more than 85,000 plants from Wisconsin and around the world. As a 100% community supported nonprofit, its mission is to connect people with plants by providing year-round educational and recreational experiences for everyone in an environment that engages, inspires and refreshes.
