FOIA Request to Town Of Green Valley Regarding Same Day Registered Voters for 2024 Election on November 7, 2024.

As a part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at the Green Bay Reporter have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Town Of Green Valley.

The request specifically seeks access to a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. As an organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, we believe that access to these records is essential in fulfilling our professional responsibilities.

In light of our role in disseminating information to the public, we have also requested a fee waiver as a media professional. We eagerly await the response from the Town Of Green Valley and remain committed to delivering accurate news reports about local government affairs.
