The Green Bay Reporter has submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law seeking specific records from the University Of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The request aims to obtain a current list of members of the University’s governing board or board of trustees. This includes each member’s full name, title or position, and term of service. Additionally, the request seeks any official headshots, portraits, or photographs maintained by the University for use in official publications, directories, or on the University’s website. Lastly, any official biographies or biographical summaries prepared or maintained by the University are requested, including those used for press releases, board directories, or public profiles.
As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we emphasize that access to these public records is crucial for holding public institutions accountable and ensuring transparency. In light of our role in disseminating information to the public, we have requested a fee waiver as media professionals.
