FOIA Request to Village of Greenleaf Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.

As a team at the Green Bay Reporter, we are committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs. To continue this commitment, we have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.

The purpose of this request is to ensure transparency and accountability in our local government institutions. As members of the media, we believe that access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. We strive to hold public institutions accountable and provide transparency to the public.

We requested these records preferably in electronic format for ease of access and dissemination. Given our role in disseminating information, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals.

We look forward to receiving this information and will continue to keep the public informed about local governmental affairs.
