A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Village of Pulaski regarding same day registered voters for the 2024 election on November 7, 2024. The request was made by us at Green Bay Reporter, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.

The specific records requested under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., are a list of new registrations voters that registered to vote on November 5, 2024. This information is crucial in our mission to hold public institutions accountable and provide transparency to the public.

As a media organization involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals. Access to these public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
