Green Bay Schools have announced that registration is now open for Summer School 2025, available to all students in grades 4K-12. The announcement was made in a Facebook post on February 17, 2025.

According to the Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPS), the Summer School program focuses on both academic and enrichment opportunities designed to support student success and graduation readiness. The program is open to all students, including those outside the district, and aims to help students stay on track for college, career, and community preparedness.

Enrollment for Summer School is free for GBAPS students and those residing within district boundaries. There is a $50 fee per course for non-resident students. Registration can be completed online through the Parent Portal or by submitting the required form to the school or district office. Various course options are available, and students must register based on the grade level they will be entering in the fall.

The program includes different session dates for elementary, middle, and high school students, with a range of host sites across the district. Transportation is provided on a hub basis but not guaranteed for all students; breakfast and lunch will be served. Additionally, wrap-around care options are available in partnership with local community organizations, with financial assistance provided for qualifying families.

The Green Bay Area Public School District is located in Northeast Wisconsin and serves over 18,000 students across 39 schools. Founded in 1856, it includes communities such as Allouez, Ledgeview, Bellevue, Green Bay, and Scott. The district offers various educational pathways to meet student needs and has a long history that includes the century-old football rivalry between East and West high schools as well as City Stadium’s role as the original home field for the Green Bay Packers. Its mission is to prepare students for success in college, careers, and their communities.
