Investigators are still uncovering information in the case of a couple that was recently found dead in a Green Bay home.

According to WBAY, Walter Gray and his wife Melissa Lemerond Gray were discovered dead in their home on Monday, April 25 by Melissa’s sister Rachelle Lemerond. The couple’s two sons, ages six and two, were also discovered in the home alive and unharmed. Authorities have not released details on how the couple died.

Rachelle told WBAY that the couple were estranged and in the process of filing for divorce. She added that she believes that Walter killed Melissa before killing himself.

“She was a great person and she literally did anything for her kids… and it’s not fair,” Rachelle told WBAY. “I feel like my sister is the best person in the world… the most perfect person.”

According to court documents, Melissa said Walter was “both verbally, emotionally and sexually abusive” and she had been granted a temporary restraining order against Walter.

“If you look at his pictures, he looks like the perfect husband,” Rachelle added. “If you look at them together, they look like the perfect family.”

Family members have launched a GoFundMe page to help Melissa’s two sons.
