Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is counting down the days until he can take the field with new rookie teammates Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.

“I don’t think they remind me of anyone I’ve played with in the past, but I think they’re two really good players that, once they get the system down, I think they’re going to be really good,” Love said in a video posted to Twitter. “I think they’re going to be able to play this year, right away, from what I’ve seen they’re really good guys. They got some hands, Christian can move, and Romeo he’s got some hands so they’re going to be good weapons.”

As the second overall pick in the second round of the NFL Draft, Watson arrives with a reputation as a difference-maker, bolstered by his combination of size, speed and skill, according to Sports Illustrated. Of the top seven receivers selected in the draft, Watson ranks sixth in over/under total receiving yards with 649.5 yards. Over the last decade, such figures have translated into just five players topping 550 yards in their first season, a goal the Packers hope Watson can surpass.

Watson’s combination of his large size, incredible speed, and natural abilities on the field drew the team to add him to their list to fill holes in their receiving corps, NBC Sports reported. Some in the Packers organization wonder though if Watson can replace players like Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Team officials know there is much to be done, as Watson is the team’s only draft pick currently not under contract, according to USA Today.
