Representative Tony Wied recently shared his thoughts and announcements on Twitter, covering topics from National Dairy Month to budgetary matters in the House.

On June 3, 2025, Rep. Wied acknowledged National Dairy Month by expressing gratitude towards dairy farmers. He stated, “June is National Dairy Month – a time to thank all of the incredible dairy farmers across our country who contribute to our economy and help feed our nation.” He highlighted that Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District is significant in dairy production.

Later that day, he commented on a political achievement by President Biden with a brief message: “Another W for @POTUS”.

In his final tweet of the day, Rep. Wied addressed an upcoming financial matter in Congress. He noted that the House would receive a rescission package involving cuts worth $9.4 billion in DOGE-related expenses from the White House. His tweet urged action, stating “We need to pass these cuts immediately.”

The DOGE referenced in the rescission package represents Department Of Government Expenditures.
