City of Green Bay issued the following announcement on March 30.

The Green Bay Public Works Department is announcing a two-day closure of the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge to inspect the hydraulic system.

Traffic Impacts

Closed at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30.
Open at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31.
Dousman Street will be closed west of the Fox River at Broadway.
Main Street will be closed east of the Fox River at Washington Street.

Detour

Broadway, Walnut Street, and Monroe Avenue.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. All closures, detours, and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists should anticipate backups and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
