Students from 19 Wisconsin high schools are graduating this week in a groundbreaking collaboration between Wisconsin high schools and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, which has resulted in the Rising Phoenix program. This program is celebrating its largest class of associate degree students to walk across the stage on Saturday. These students will be earning their high school diploma later this month, marking the beginning of their college journey as third-year students.

Vanessa Abella-Martinez, a current senior at Green Bay Preble High School, will earn her Associate’s degree along with her two siblings at Saturday’s commencement ceremony.
