The Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership is set to host an engaging event tonight titled "Celebrate 2024: Why Women, Why Now". The event aims to connect participants from across the state and equip them with the tools necessary for leadership. It will feature a lineup of esteemed women who will share their experiences and insights.
The evening's schedule at The Weidner, UW-Green Bay includes networking at 4 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 5 p.m. The panel boasts an A-list roster that includes Alida Al-Saadi, Senior Partner at Korn Ferry; Maria M. Lara, President & Co-Founder of LPA of N.E.W.; Polly Olson, Chief of Police in the City of Appleton; and Mang Xiong, Executive Director of WUCMAAA.
At 6 p.m., Jeffery Tobias Halter will deliver a keynote address on the gender equity gap in workplaces across Northeast Wisconsin. A social gathering will follow at 7 p.m.
In addition to networking and education, the event promises fun through an infusion of art and music by the Art-Hop Collective — a collaboration between artists Andrew Linskens ’07, Gregory Frederic and DjRgs (DJ Richard Grieco Suave).
