FOIA Request to Town Of Green Bay Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, we at the Green Bay Reporter have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law for information regarding new voter registrations. Specifically, we are seeking a list of voters who registered on Election Day, November 5, 2024.
The request was sent as part of our efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs. As a media organization, access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. These include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
