The Green Bay Public Works Department is announcing on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation the temporary closure of Chantel Street for bridge replacement at Beaver Dam Creek starting Monday, June 19. Closure is scheduled to remain in place through Friday, August 25.
Traffic Impacts
Chantel Street will be closed to all traffic from Ninth Street to Michaline Drive. No through traffic will be possible.
Detour
No detour will be signed.
Access to residences and businesses and Kennedy Elementary School will be maintained. All closures, detours, and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists should anticipate backups, use caution while driving through the work zone, and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
