Temporary Intersection Closure at University Avenue & Baird Street
The Green Bay Public Works Department is announcing the five-day closure of the University Avenue and Baird Street intersection for sewer work.
Traffic Impacts
University Avenue will be closed from Irwin Avenue to Forest Street
Baird Street will be closed from Elm Street to University Avenue
Closed starting Monday, August 29 at 6 a.m.
Open on Friday, September 2 by 5 p.m.
Detour
Webster Avenue to Main Street to Elizabeth Street
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. All lane restrictions, closures, detours, and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists should anticipate backups, use caution while driving through the work zone, and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
