Rep. Tony Wied, a Wisconsin state legislator who won his seat in 2024, recently shared updates on local events and public figures through a series of posts on his official X account.

On August 18, 2025, Wied highlighted his participation in a local scouting ceremony: “I was happy to attend the Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for Landon and Harper Collegnon in Ashwaubenon. It was great to hear about their service projects and their strong commitment to serving our community. Their scouting journey to becoming an Eagle Scout is truly https://t.co/dB37Fy6hT7”.

The following day, August 19, Wied commented on another community event: “I had a fantastic time attending the Brown County Fair this past weekend. It was a great opportunity to connect with so many constituents and get to experience all of the great booths they had to offer. https://t.co/ZY4Awwk3KB”.

Later that same day, he praised a fellow public figure by posting: “A true hero. Amazing job. @derrickvanorden https://t.co/1T0jilG6UN”.

Wied’s recent activity reflects ongoing engagement with his district since winning election against Kristin Lyerly in 2024 with 57.3% of the vote, according to official results.
