Rep. Tony Wied, a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, shared updates on social media on August 27, 2025, highlighting his recent activities and policy positions.

In one post dated August 27, 2025, Wied recounted a conversation with a local bartender about pending legislation: “Enjoyed chatting with Paige, a bartender at Chatterhouse, about the One Big Beautiful Bill and No Tax on Tips. Later that day, Wied commented on his visit to a local community event: “I had a great time at the Oconto County Fair. Always good to see Sheriff Skarban — another great man who is dedicated to keeping the people of Oconto County safe, and getting to catch up with so many other friends.”

Wied also expressed support for an idea proposed by @SecDuffy regarding the nation’s capital: “A fantastic idea by @SecDuffy When Americans arrive in their nation’s capital, it should reflect the greatness of our country. “

Rep. Tony Wied won his seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly after defeating Kristin Lyerly in the 2024 general election by a margin of 57.3% to 42.6%.
