Rep. Tony Wied, who represents Wisconsin’s 8th congressional district, recently shared updates on his public appearances and holiday greetings through a series of posts on social media.

On August 31, 2025, Rep. Wied posted about his visit to a local event: “I had an awesome time at the Shawano County Fair this afternoon. So much fun seeing the community come together to display everything that Shawano has to offer! #WI08 https://t.co/YXBMqCPGeB”

The following day, September 1, 2025, he marked a national holiday with a message to constituents: “Happy Labor Day! This holiday was established to honor hardworking Americans who dedicate themselves each day to providing for their families and keeping our country moving forward. Enjoy your day. You’ve earned it. https://t.co/1984JRCBT1”

On September 2, 2025, Rep. Wied highlighted another community engagement by joining Congressman Jim Jordan for a tour of Lambeau Field: “Had a great time joining @Jim_Jordan for a tour of Lambeau Field and showing him around the best stadium in the NFL. Still working on turning him into a @Packers fan, but I think we’ll get there. https://t.co/EBhfctVgeS”

Rep. Tony Wied was elected in 2024 after defeating Kristin Lyerly in the general election with 57.3% of the vote.
