Rep. Tony Wied, who represents Wisconsin’s 8th congressional district, recently shared updates on his activities and views through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On September 15, 2025, Wied highlighted his visit to a local school, stating, “I had a great time visiting Forest Glen Elementary School. This is just one of the many great schools we’re lucky to have in #WI08 that are doing a fantastic job helping shape the next generation in our country.”

Later that day, Wied commented on Wisconsin’s agricultural products with a post reading, “No thanks Bill. I’m going to stick to Wisconsin Butter straight from our great farmlands.”

On September 16, 2025, Wied discussed national issues during an appearance on Real America’s Voice. He wrote, “Great to join @RealAmVoice this morning to discuss the need to turn down the violent rhetoric in this country and how House Republicans can continue to get our country back on a sound fiscal path.”

Wied was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Kristin Lyerly in the general election with 57.3% of the vote.
