The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of the offseason's first mandatory series of workouts, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in attendance to work with new receiving recruits and his backup QB Jordan Love.

In a locker room interview posted on the Packers' website, Love said "it feels good" to get back in the swing of things, and he feels more confident this time around.

"I think it's just being comfortable with the plays, really," Love said during the interview. "We're starting off with the basic stuff, install one, and building on so, just having a good foundation and knowing what I'm doing. Obviously, with some of the younger guys out there that's what you have to rely on, just knowing what you're doing."

The Packers kicked off their offseason minicamp on June 7. Rodgers skipped the voluntary part of the team's offseason training to attend the sixth annual The Match charity golf tournament, an NFL.com report said this week. He was back in Green Bay to take part in the minicamp, which runes through Thursday.

Rodgers returned to Lambeau Field with a $150 million contract, the report said. He'll also be working with new teammates Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs along with free agent Sammy Watkins for the first time this week.

The Packers opted against trading Love this offseason even though they received several offers and knew Rodgers would be back to start for the team, a Heavy.com report said this week. Team representatives have stated that Love would be traded for "the right price," but his place on the team is likely dependent upon Rodgers' decision to play or not in the 2023 NFL season.
