The Green Bay Packers are extending an invitation to middle school students in Wisconsin to participate in the Character Playbook Community Impact Project. This initiative, now in its fifth year, encourages students to develop service projects that positively affect their schools, neighborhoods, or communities.

Student groups, under the supervision of a Wisconsin school or nonprofit organization, can propose and implement projects tailored to their local environments. Once proposals are submitted, selected applicants will present their ideas to representatives from the Green Bay Packers and Character Playbook.

Approved proposals may receive grants of up to $500 through the NFL Volunteerism Grant to support project execution. Suggested project ideas include refurbishing common areas, creating welcome kits for new families, organizing neighborhood beautification efforts, establishing community gardens with produce donations, or developing online programs for student engagement.

Participating schools and organizations will appoint a project supervisor to guide students and facilitate communication with the Packers.

Interested student groups must submit their proposals online by November 1st at the provided link. Presentations for selected applicants are scheduled for November 20-22, with grant recipients announced by December 2nd. Projects should be completed by the end of the academic year.

For more details, schools and nonprofits can reach out to Amanda Wery in the Packers community outreach department via email at werya@packers.com.
