On Thursday, March 20, former Notre Dame Academy standout Emmett Lawton’s current collegiate team the Washington Bears lost 72-60 against the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the NYU Violets during the championship.

Emmett Lawton’s hometown is De Pere and game position is guard.
