The 5K Heart Run/Walk, organized by Bellin Health Marinette, is set to take place on Saturday, May 3, beginning at 8 a.m. at 2820 Roosevelt Road. Brian Cleven, Race Director and Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist, remarked on the event's communal and health-focused nature: "The 5K Heart Run/Walk celebrates heart-healthy activity while bringing people together. We are proud of the community we have built and enjoy seeing it grow year after year. From seasoned runners to enthusiastic kids, there is something here for everyone."

Participants have the option to join a 5K, a 1-mile community walk, or a children's run. Each registered participant will receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Attendees will also have access to refreshments, health resources, including hands-on CPR training, and may encounter special guests, including two Green Bay Packers players.

"We designed these events to be all-inclusive so everyone can enjoy the excitement of race day," Cleven stated. "From individuals and families to school groups, we would love to have you all."

Registrations are being accepted until Friday, May 2.
