Large events such as the NFL Draft, expected to attract significant crowds, often lead to an increased likelihood of medical incidents. To address this, Emplify Health by Bellin is extending its urgent care hours, aiming to ensure quick access to medical assistance for attendees and visitors in the area.

Jill Spejcher, Emplify Health by Bellin's Team Leader for Primary Care Clinical Operations, emphasized the importance of preparation, stating, “Extended hours at our urgent care locations are one of the many ways we are preparing to make sure everyone in the area can receive timely medical care.”

The urgency stems from the potential rise in medical needs during large gatherings. In response, Emplify Health by Bellin Urgent Care locations will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from April 23 through April 26. Additionally, services will be available on Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., providing ample opportunity for people to seek care as needed.

Moreover, Emplify Health by Bellin assures the public that their hospital emergency rooms in Green Bay and Oconto will remain operational 24/7, continuing to provide around-the-clock emergency services.

Spejcher highlighted the array of activities expected around Green Bay during Draft week and reminded everyone to prioritize safety. “There will a lot of exciting events and activities happening in and around Green Bay for Draft week,” she said. “We encourage everyone to keep safety top of mind and to know that if you should need care, it’s available.”
