Emplify Health by Bellin Green Bay Hospital has earned an "A" Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, marking the 14th time the facility has received this commendation. Chris Woleske, Emplify Health Executive Vice President and Bellin Region President, emphasized the significance of safety in their operations. “Making our hospital a safe environment for our patients is always our number one priority,” Woleske stated, acknowledging the "incredible commitment of our providers, staff, and volunteers who do all they can to continue making Bellin the best place to find exceptional care."
Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group, praised the achievement, highlighting the hospital's dedication to safety. "Achieving an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade reflects enormous dedication to patient safety," Binder said. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a program exclusively focused on preventing medical errors, infections, and injuries, which result in the deaths of over 500 patients daily in the United States. The grading is peer-reviewed, transparent, and accessible to the public with updates occurring biannually.
