The Green Bay Packers have signed linebacker Jared Bartlett and released safety Kahzir Brown, according to an announcement from General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Bartlett, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 238 pounds, was first signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets on May 9, 2025. He played college football at West Virginia University from 2019 to 2023 before transferring to the University of Cincinnati for his final season in 2024.

During his college career, Bartlett appeared in 61 games and made a total of 204 tackles, including 107 solo stops. He also recorded 21½ sacks, 32½ tackles for loss, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. In his last season of college eligibility, he received All-Big 12 honorable mention recognition from conference coaches and was named second-team All-Big 12 by Phil Steele's College Football. That year he set personal bests with 69 tackles (34 solo), 11½ tackles for loss, seven-and-a-half sacks and three passes defensed.

Bartlett will wear number 51 for the Packers.
