The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. operates independently from the Green Bay Packers organization as a nonprofit corporation. Its mission is to serve as a historic sports venue and educational resource for both Green Bay and Wisconsin communities. The Hall funds its operations through events such as its annual induction banquet and Golf Classic to help preserve Packers history and grow its archives. Donations of memorabilia may qualify as tax-deductible gifts.

Founded in 1967 as a temporary display in Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena’s concourse, the Hall moved into its own facility near Lambeau Field in 1976. In 2003 it was relocated to Lambeau Field Atrium’s lower level before moving again after renovations in August 2015 to its current main floor location across from 1919 Kitchen & Tap.
