Oconto Falls Public School District issued the following announcement on June 3.
The SkillsUSA Wisconsin competition was held virtually this year throughout the month of April.
This year, two Oconto Falls High School students placed within the top three of their respective competitions.
Junior, John Wolford, took 1st place in the SkillsUSA State competition for Electrical Wiring.
John will be moving on to compete in SkillsUSA Nationals, which will also be held virtually, in the second week of June. Kayle Hines, also a junior, took 3rd place at SkillsUSA State in the Technical Drafting competition.
