There have been lots of changes in basketball rosters across the University of Wisconsin (UW) circuit in the past month, with UW Green Bay also experiencing plenty of change, losing a few players but gaining quite a few names.

Coach Will Ryan has been busy recruiting and committing with plenty of players, and Wisco natives. According to a release from UW Green Bay, Ryan has been recruiting to fill up the men’s basketball roster at UW Green Bay. On April 14, 2022, he announced the commitments of Garren Davis and Amari Jedkins to the team.

"It's OFFICIAL Phoenix Fans! Please give a BIG Green Bay welcome to @GarrenDavis0 and @marithebucket17 Can't wait to coach these two!" Ryan wrote in an April 14 Twitter post.

Jedkins is an incoming freshman from Racine where he played for Racine Case High, according to the release. He comes in as a 6-foot-8 forward for the team. Garren Davis is a 6-foot-4 shooter from Dallas, Texas with two years of eligibility left. Ryan is ecstatic about the skill and experience Davis will bring to the team in this upcoming season. The announcements of Davis and Jedkins follow the commitment of forward Devin Short, a recruit from Denmark high school.

According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, news of a fourth new recruit has come through for the men’s team, with no comment by Ryan yet about the commitment of Clarence Cummings III from Florida. The recruit came after UW GB was reportedly looking at his teammate Kaiyem Cleary, who was also offered a scholarship. There's no word on whether or not Cleary accepted the offer, but Cummings is excited about his chance to play in Wisconsin.
