Enjoy Kids’ Day the Green Bay way! The 21st annual City of Green Bay’s Kids’ Day will be held on Monday, June 26 at various locations throughout the City. Activities are FREE for all Green Bay youth with a 2023 Kids’ Day wristband.
Starting June 5, wristbands can be picked up at the Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Office, Green Bay Mayor’s Office, Bay Beach Amusement Park, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Brown County Library Branches, Green Bay Pools (June 10), Green Bay Playground Program sites (June 14), Pizza Ranch, or 9th Street Wellness Center. On Kids’ Day, kids will have the opportunity to:
- Kickoff the day at the Baird Creek Bike Skills Course Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. The fun will continue with a variety of events at Triangle Sports Area including a bike demonstration from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., disc golf lessons from 12:00-2:00 p.m., and nature art from 2:00-4:00 p.m..
- Next, the annual Mayor’s Luncheon will be at Leicht Park from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Local organizations will be present with giveaways, activities, and games. Free lunches will be served to kids by the Green Bay Area Public School District. Please join us for Mayor Genrich’s press conference at 11:00 a.m.
- Lastly, Joannes Park will have free swimming at the Aquatic Center from 12:00-3:30 p.m., a Blue Ribbons Camp/Clinic from 1:00-3:00 p.m., skateboarding demonstrations from 3:00-5:00 p.m., and free snacks for kids from the Green Bay Area Public School District from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Mayor for the Day:
The City of Green Bay invites all school-aged children living within the City of Green Bay to apply to be Mayor for the Day. One lucky child will have the chance to experience the 21st annual Kids’ Day alongside Mayor Genrich!
While schedules will be coordinated with the winner and their family, the Mayor’s duties will start with the Kids’ Day Proclamation in the Council Chambers and ribbon cutting at Baird Creek. Next, ride in a City vehicle to the Mayor’s Luncheon. During the Luncheon, accompany Mayor Genrich to the press conference followed by lunch. Spend the afternoon at Triangle Sports Area then skateboard at Joannes. Apply online now through Tuesday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m.
