Green Bay, WI – The upcoming spring commencement at UW-Green Bay is set to feature two distinguished speakers who will address the graduating class. Dr. Rachel Patzer, the CEO of the Regenstrief Institute, will deliver a speech at the 9:30 a.m. ceremony, while Christopher Caldwell, the President of the College of Menominee Nation, will speak at the 2 p.m. ceremony.
Dr. Patzer, a renowned figure in the healthcare research field, is known for her significant contributions to reshaping the transplantation paradigm and advocating for a population health approach in patient care. She actively collaborates with national and local organizations, emphasizing advancements in healthcare and promoting equitable access to high-value care.
On the other hand, Christopher Caldwell, an enrolled member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, has led the College of Menominee Nation since February 2020. With a background in sustainability and forestry, Caldwell has held various positions focusing on environmental conservation and policy, showcasing his dedication to sustainable practices.
The commencement ceremonies will celebrate over 1,100 graduates from UW-Green Bay's associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs. The event will be held at the Kress Events Center on the Green Bay campus, with specific college programs being honored at each ceremony.
