The Bond Community Center has been awarded a $30,000 grant from the Bond Foundation for the third consecutive year. This funding will be managed over a one-year period and is intended to enhance community services.

Julie Bulin, Vice President of Bellin Health Oconto Hospital, expressed gratitude for the donation: “We are very thankful for this donation, which will allow us to increase the playability of our playground for kids of all ages. These funds are a way for us to continue providing great health and wellbeing programming to everyone within our community.”

Part of the grant will support the third annual kids’ triathlon, aimed at children aged 3 to 14. Additionally, it will fund free community day events including family yoga sessions, crafting projects, and scavenger hunts.

The Bellin Health Bond Community Center provides health and fitness programs tailored for different ages and skill levels in a supportive environment. It offers activities ranging from high-intensity training to low-impact aquatic exercise classes, serving residents of Oconto and nearby areas.
