The Rotary Club of Green Bay, in conjunction with the Rotary Foundation of Green Bay, Inc., has announced Randy Homel as the recipient of the 2025 Free Enterprise Award. This accolade is given to individuals who embody the principles of Rotary in their professional and personal lives.

Homel expressed his gratitude for receiving this honor, stating, “I am humbled by this honor to be included among our area’s most pioneering business and entrepreneurial leaders who have received the Free Enterprise award.”

Homel's career began with a strong interest in engineering from a young age. He pursued mechanical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1985. His career at Foth started with an internship that led to various roles including project engineer, project manager, client leader, business unit leader, chief operating officer, and eventually CEO and board chair over a span of several decades.

Reflecting on his journey at Foth, Homel said: “I am proud of my journey at Foth, an organization that lives up to our purpose: solving our clients’ toughest science and engineering challenges.” Under his leadership as CEO for 12 years, Foth has seen its revenue double while maintaining a member retention rate exceeding 92% annually.

Foth is recognized as a full-service science and engineering firm headquartered in De Pere, Wisconsin. It provides services across environment, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. Homel highlighted the importance of this recognition for Foth: “What I am most excited about is the visibility this recognition will provide to Foth, specifically our clients and employee-members.”

The award presentation dinner will take place on May 19th at the Oneida Hotel. The event is co-hosted by The Business News alongside the Rotary Club of Green Bay. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available through greenbayrotary.org/fea.
