Green Bay, WI – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has released the Fall 2025 catalog for its Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI). Members can choose from hundreds of classes taught by current and retired faculty and community enthusiasts.
The LLI offers over 200 in-person courses, live and recorded online classes, outdoor classes, and tours. Topics include arts, crafts, culinary skills, fitness, science, nature, and more. History enthusiasts can explore courses like “Rome’s Greatest Heroes and the Power of Myth.” Other activities include an insider tour at Cherney Maribel Caves or learning to play Sheepshead.
The Fall 2025 course listing is available online. Membership must be renewed by July 21 to secure priority registration on July 29. Registration links will be emailed to confirmed members only.
“Our members embody learning throughout a lifetime. Whether they’re picking up a new hobby or exploring a favorite subject, you can see how it brings energy, connection and joy. Lifelong learning really is a key part of staying active, curious and engaged at any age,” said Heidi Leiterman, UW-Green Bay program specialist with the Lifelong Learning Institute.
Two introductory events are scheduled for those interested in membership:
- Tuesday, July 15 at UW-Green Bay's Manitowoc Campus
- Wednesday, July 16 at Fort Howard Hall in The Weidner on UW-Green Bay's Green Bay Campus
LLI representatives will provide information through a sample class and answer questions. No RSVP is needed.
LLI is the largest member-funded organization of its kind in Wisconsin. The annual membership fee is $150 for two semesters of courses. Members may initially register for up to 15 classes per semester with additional options based on enrollment.
Membership benefits include invitations to social events, early registration notices, newsletters exclusive to members, and special travel opportunities that may require extra fees.
