On September 12, 2025, Rep. Wied expressed support for Governor Cox’s call for national unity and nonviolence: "Governor Cox is absolutely right.

During difficult times in this country, we need to unite as Americans and come together with prayer.

On September 14, 2025, Wied shared his experience at a local Alzheimer's awareness event: "It was an honor to attend @ALZWisconsin's Walk to End Alzheimer's in Sturgeon Bay.
