De Pere City Clerk Brown County WI issued the following on Oct. 22
The upcoming election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3 - 12 days away!
In-person ABSENTEE voting continues at City Hall (335 S Broadway)! It will run through Friday, Oct. 30. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
Beyond that, each Tuesday and Thursday, we provide election updates. Here's the latest you need to know.
◾️ District 2 polling place has changed for this election. Residents in District 2 usually vote at St. Francis Parish Center/Notre Dame Middle School, which has been torn down. For the November election, District 2 voters will go to the Swan Club at 875 Heritage Road.
◾️ You can request an absentee ballot until Thursday, October 29th – just make sure to allow enough time to receive it in the mail and get it back to the Clerk’s Office by November 3rd!
◾️ The City of De Pere has issued 8,621 absentee ballots so far, with 6,786 returned.
◾️ Remember, a witness signature and witness address are required from all voters on the absentee ballot return envelope.
◾️ You can register to vote in person at the Clerk’s office through Friday, October 30th, or at your polling place on Election Day.
◾️ Voters can track their ballot at myvote.wi.gov.
◾️ You may drop your ballot off at City Hall, 335 South Broadway, if you choose. There is a secure 24-hour built-in drop box (also used for water bill payments). It is clearly marked with signage.
◾️ Visit www.deperewi.gov/vote for registration and other election information.
