Rep. Tony Wied, a U.S. Representative who won his seat in 2024 by defeating Kristin Lyerly with 57.3% of the vote, recently shared updates from his district on social media.

On August 28, 2025, Wied highlighted a visit to a local agricultural business: "It was great to visit Kinnard Farms and get a firsthand look at their innovative farming practices. Multi-generational farms like Kinnard are the backbone of our district. I was proud to support the elimination of the death tax in our One Big Beautiful Bill to help make it".

The following day, August 29, Wied commented on federal spending priorities: "Once again, @POTUS is putting America First. Our taxpayer dollars should be going towards helping Americans, not foreign interests."

On August 30, he posted about attending a community event: "I had a great time at Little Suamico Days with Oconto County Sheriff Todd Skarban! #WI08"

Wied’s recent posts reflect ongoing engagement with both local constituents and national policy debates. He assumed office after winning the general election against Kristin Lyerly in 2024 by securing over 57% of the vote.
