Zooboo

Brown County WI Clerk recently issued the following announcement

Event: North Shore Bank Zoo Boo

When: October 30, 2020

Time: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is excited to once again partner with North Shore Bank to present North Shore Bank Zoo Boo for the 2020 season. Although this year’s event features a few changes from years past to promote health and extra safety measures, you can rest assured that we haven’t changed the fun! North Shore Bank Zoo Boo will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st.

To ensure comfortable social distancing throughout the Zoo, capacity will be limited during each evening of the event. Guests must purchase tickets in advance that correspond to the date and time you wish to attend. Each night, two different time slots will be available: a 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. slot and a 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. slot. Gates will close 30 minutes prior to each time slot’s ending, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.

Tickets will be available for a special pre-sale at North Shore Bank locations throughout Northeastern Wisconsin from Friday, September 11th through Saturday, September 19th. After the pre-sale, tickets will be available exclusively online at newzoo.org starting Friday, September 25th. Tickets are $12 per person (kids under 3 are free). Everyone aged 3 and above must have a ticket or a bar code (emailed after your online purchase) for entry. Tickets will be available at the gate each day only if they have not sold out in advance or online. Zoo Pass Members will receive one free ticket (per membership) on arrival, the same way as in past years OR Members can pickup your ticket in advance by stopping into the Zoo’s gift shop anytime during regular business hours, starting Wednesday, September 23rd. All other tickets needed by Members should be purchased in advance.

Don’t forget to come in costume! Enjoy all treats and no tricks: this year, every guest over the age of 1 can receive a bag of candy on arrival (yes, even the grown-ups)! The Zoo will be filled with festive, family-friendly Halloween decorations, so enjoy the sights of the Halloween season while visiting the animals. Be sure to ride the carousel and walk through the Happy Haunted Maze in the Children’s Zoo. The Dog House will also be on-site selling their full menu, including their famous, fresh battered cheese curds. Families can participate in North Shore Bank’s Zoo Scavenger Hunt, and the first 500 families to finish during each time slot can pick up a prize (while supplies last).

Note: The NEW Zoo will close at 2:00 p.m. on Zoo Boo dates so we can prepare for the fun! Due to social distancing requirements, there will be no wagon rides through a Haunted Forest this year and no bounce houses. The Adventure Park will not be open.
