City of Shawano recently issued the following announcement.
Officers from Shawano and Clintonville PD recently completed training in Emergency Vehicle Operations and Control (EVOC), in a controlled setting, at the USAIR Motorsports Raceway.
This training provided officers with a review of basic EVOC skills that may be used during emergency responses and/or pursuits. Officers also trained in vehicle contacts allowing them to review and improve their tactical skills in a traffic stop environment, which included high risk stop scenarios.
Thank you to USAIR Motorsports Raceway for allowing us to train at their facilities.
