The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has announced the launch of three new certificate programs aimed at supporting nonprofit leaders and women in leadership positions. The programs will be available starting this fall and are intended to promote leadership development, strategic resilience, and greater impact within organizations.
The first program, Executive Coaching for Nonprofit Leaders, is offered through UW-Green Bay’s Nonprofit Education and Development Network. Participants in this online program will receive coaching and consultation tailored to help nonprofit professionals address challenges and lead more effectively.
A second program, Executive Coaching for Women in Leadership, is designed for women in middle and upper management roles. Developed by the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership at UW-Green Bay, this cohort-based initiative includes both in-person and virtual components with a focus on overcoming barriers and building confidence.
The third program, Women in Healthcare Leadership Series, is delivered fully online. It focuses on the specific needs of women leading in healthcare settings and is a collaboration between the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership and the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training.
Jess Lambrecht, executive officer for the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training at UW-Green Bay, stated: “As Northeast Wisconsin faces a wave of retirements and ongoing workforce shortages, it’s crucial that we prioritize the development of tomorrow’s leaders. These new certificate programs are designed to equip professionals with the skills, confidence and support they need to step into leadership roles, drive meaningful change in their organizations and help us all rise as a region.”
These new certificates expand upon UW-Green Bay’s existing portfolio of credit and noncredit offerings such as Supervisory Essentials, Nonprofit Leadership, Emerging Leadership, and Organizational Leadership. All programs aim to provide flexible learning options that support professional growth.
More information about these certificates can be found at the UW-Green Bay Certificate Program website or by contacting Jess Lambrecht at (920) 465-2222 or lambreje@uwgb.edu.
UW-Green Bay serves over 11,000 undergraduate through doctoral students each year across four campuses in Northeast Wisconsin.
