Brown County issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
Join Kewaunee County for their 1st annual 4-H Wildlife Day! This is open to Brown County 4-H members.
What is the 1st annual Wildlife Day? This fun filled, hands-on day is geared to members 6th through 13th grade with sessions like canoeing, air rifle, archery, nature scavenger hunts, wood burning, building bat houses, feather jewelry making and more. Members get to choose what sounds most interesting to them. However, register early because sessions are filled on a first come, first filled basis and there is a limited number of participants for the day. Date: October 16th
Registration Deadline: Extended to October 4th
Time: 8:30am, Registration, Program from 9:00am - 1:45pm
Location: Black Ash Gun Club, Algoma, WI
Who can attend: Current 4-H Members
Cost: The cost is $10.00, this includes the program, supplies, lunch, ad snacks

Ages: The camp is open youth 6th - 13th grades

Payment: Payments can be made by check payable to Kewaunee Co. 4-H and mailed/dropped at: UW Extension, Attn Wildlife Day, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee, WI 54216 or a cash payment can be dropped off at the office as well. Registration will be complete once payment is received.
Program Scholarships Available: If a young person would like to participate in this program and it will cause a financial burden for the family, full scholarships are available to pay for the day. If you would like more information about how to receive a scholarship, contact Jill at (920)388-7141. We will make sure that any young person that wants to attend is able.
How to register Wildlife Day:
Step 1: Re-enroll in your County 4-H program. If you have not completed your enrollment for the year, you will not be able to register for Wildlife Day.
Step 2: Log-in (or stay logged -in) to your 4-H online account.
Go to wi.4honline.com
Sign-in to your account
Click Events (on the left or on the drop down menu)
Locate the event you are looking for: "Wildlife Day"
Click on the event and proceed through the registration process.
You will receive a confirmation email.
