After a century of competition, the bitter rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears remains as hot as ever, as revealed in an encounter between a Bears fan and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during the team’s 24-14 road win over Chicago.
The 37-year-old Rodgers didn’t hold back after jogging into the endzone for what would be Green Bay’s go-ahead touchdown and seeing angered Bears fans flash obscene gestures at him.
ESPN reported the former NFL MVP to have fired off a taunt in response.
"All my (expletive) life, I own you," the network reported Rodgers as saying after he scored. "I still own you. I still own you."
The Packers rode Rodgers’ 195-yard, two-touchdown on 17-for-23 passing performance to their fifth straight win of the season.
“Five in a row,” tweeted Packers cornerback Chandon Sullivan.
Rodgers has previously divulged that he loves playing in Chicago as a sports city.
And with a 22-5 career record against Green Bay’s biggest rival, no one except for the Bears faithful could blame him.
