Mayor Genrich to Launch Community Safety Plan and Next Steps for the Office of Violence Prevention

Green Bay, WI - Mayor Eric Genrich will hold a press conference on Tuesday, May 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at Seymour Park to announce the launch of the Community Safety Plan and outline the next steps for the Office of Violence Prevention (OVP). The event will take place under the park gazebo located at 330 S Oakland Avenue at the corner of Ashland Avenue.

Joining Mayor Genrich will be Green Bay Police Chief Chris Davis, Director of the Office of Violence Prevention Jerry Overstreet, and Operations and Data Officer Andrea Kressin. They will provide updates on the progress made by the OVP and introduce newly hired Violence Interrupters.

The press conference aims to inform the public about ongoing efforts to enhance community safety and reduce violence in Green Bay.
