The City of Green Bay will host Insight Publications’ InDevelopment conference on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.

As the city prepares for its role as the host of the 2025 NFL draft, various development projects and new opportunities are reshaping its landscape.

“It’s an incredible time for the city of Green Bay with several catalytic projects underway and major strides being made in housing inventory,” said Cheryl Renier-Wigg, Development Director for the City of Green Bay. “Significant public and private investments are driving unique developments that will attract tourists, offer diverse housing options, and further strengthen Green Bay’s commercial and industrial sectors.”

Renier-Wigg and Deputy Development Director Matt Buchanan will lead discussions on recent economic development successes and plans including the JBS housing development and the Shipyard and Rail Yard developments.

Brian Johnson, president & CEO of On Broadway, Inc., will deliver a keynote presentation on the forthcoming Green Bay Public Market which is expected to draw 1 million visitors annually and generate more than $100 million in nearby development when it opens in spring 2025.

Manny Vasquez of Pfefferle Companies will also lead a panel discussion on industrial and commercial real estate. The event concludes with a networking reception where economic development leaders from around the New North's 18-county region will provide information on local development opportunities and projects.

“InDevelopment has been showcasing the efforts of economic developers in the New North for the past 15 years. It’s amazing to see how our region has evolved over time,” said Brian Rasmussen, publisher of Insight Publications. “The conference is a must-attend for anyone invested in our region's prosperity.”

Tickets are $55 in advance or $60 at the door. For more information and to register, visit insightonbusiness.com/indevelopment.
