During the week of March 24-28, 2025, residents of Green Bay can place up to two cubic yards of bulk household items next to their trash carts for free curbside collection. Items that qualify include sofas, tables, mattresses, grills, and lawn furniture. These should be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. on the designated collection day.

Items exceeding two cubic yards will incur additional charges. Certain items will not be collected, including construction waste, electronics, appliances, and move-out debris. If these are left at the curb, they will also be picked up and charged accordingly.

Residents can bring bulk items to drop-off sites at 1820 Mills Street on the east side or 519 S. Oneida Street on the west side of Green Bay. Construction waste and similar materials are not allowed at these locations. Proof of residency is required.

The drop-off sites operate Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on the second and third Saturdays of each month from 7 a.m. to noon.

Alternatively, residents may take waste to the Brown County Transfer Station at 3734 W. Mason Street where fees apply. High-visibility safety gear may be required there.
