The City of Green Bay’s Department of Public Works has scheduled a temporary adjustment in the operating times of the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge. This change, intended to facilitate preventative maintenance activities, will affect the bridge, located over the Fox River at Mile 1.58 on Dousman and Main Streets.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the bridge will be secured for masted navigation between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. According to the city's Department of Public Works, "vessels able to pass under the bridge may do so at any time," ensuring some maritime traffic can continue. Despite the temporary change for navigation, the bridge will remain accessible to vehicular traffic throughout the maintenance period.
