On May 21, Rep. Wied expressed his pleasure in hosting students from St. Bernard Catholic School at the U.S. Capitol. He noted, "It was great to welcome students from St. Bernard Catholic School to the U.S. Capitol this morning! It's always encouraging to see young people so eager to learn more about our government."

The following day, on May 22, Rep. Wied announced what he described as a significant victory for Americans due to actions taken by House Republicans. Later that same day, Rep. Wied issued a statement regarding the passage of legislation referred to as "One Big Beautiful Bill." He shared this announcement succinctly with his followers: "My statement on this morning's passage of House Republican's One Big Beautiful Bill."
