The City of Green Bay is set to commence Pride Month with a celebration on June 1 at Leicht Memorial Park. The event will feature a Pride Flag-Raising Ceremony and a Resource Fair, organized in collaboration with On Broadway, Inc. and the Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series.
The Resource Fair, scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., will highlight local organizations offering support and resources to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. At 3:30 p.m., the Pride Flag-Raising Ceremony will take place at the park's flagpole near the stage, underscoring Green Bay’s dedication to diversity and inclusion.
“The Pride Month Kickoff is an opportunity for our entire community to come together in support of equality and belonging,” stated Michael Bergman, Communications Director for the City of Green Bay. “We invite everyone to join us for this meaningful celebration, connect with local organizations, and enjoy the music and festivities.”
After these events, attendees can stay for the Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., which includes live performances and family-friendly activities.
