Congressman Tony Wied of Wisconsin has expressed his support for the recently passed House Republican bill, known as "One Big Beautiful Bill." The legislation aims to extend tax cuts, enhance border security, boost American energy production, and protect Medicaid and SNAP for vulnerable citizens. It also seeks to control federal spending.

In a statement released after the vote, Congressman Wied highlighted the collaborative efforts between House Republicans and President Trump in crafting the bill. He stated, “Over the last few months, House Republicans have worked hand in hand with President Trump to craft One Big Beautiful Bill that will extend tax cuts for hard-working families, secure our border, unleash American energy, protect Medicaid and SNAP for the most vulnerable Americans, and rein in out-of-control federal spending."

Wied emphasized his pride in supporting a bill he believes will benefit middle-class Americans and small businesses nationwide. He added that both President Trump and Congressional Republicans were elected with a mandate to lead and are fulfilling their promises to the public. "I look forward to continuing our work to enact the President’s agenda and Making America Great Again,” he concluded.
